Drumnahaving Firewood was started out of frustration!
After numerous deliveries of poor quality firewood I bit the bullet and decided to do something about it.
Mission
To produce affordable, ready to burn firewood for the local community.
Problem
Air drying wood in the local environment is a difficult, lengthy process with hit or miss results. To produce a saleable volume of air dried wood the amount of timber you need to have on site is enormous.

After extensive research, and substantial investment, the kiln in place at Drumnahaving provides the solution.
We produce a reliable fuel
Nothing quite beats being sure that when you go to light your stove, there will be no drama, no disappointment and no hissing, difficult to light wood. Just quick clean heat time and time again.
We produce an affordable fuel
By choosing the right boiler and kiln system we are able to claim RHI which allows us to keep the final cost of the firewood down.
We produce an accessible fuel
Supplying the wood in 30 litre net bags makes it accessible on numerous levels:
Not everyone is capable of stacking a large volume of firewood.
Think of it as ready stacked.
Not everyone can afford to buy cubic meters of wood at a time.
You can buy a few bags as and when.
Not everyone has the storage space for cubic meters of firewood.
But with it being kiln-dried your storage options are expanded.
